Perfect stop for sunset! We arrived 5 minutes past sunset and still had a beautiful view! Parking is free in the evening. Bring bug spray to ward off the gnats.

Rock Harbor is subject of quintessential CC sunset photos. The sunsets are amazing. The trees that are signposts for boats to navigate the channel are unique. Purples, oranges, pinks, reds across the horizon. Rock Harbor pops up in many guides as The Place For Sunsets,...More

One of my most favorite walks on the Cape is going out on the flats at low tide. I start before dead low tide and follow the trees that mark the channel, and walk for at least 1/2 mile.....the water is warm, the sand is...More

During low tide we were able to walk about a 1/2 mile out and see the oyster cage. My son enjoyed picking up the hermit crabs and shrimp as there were an abundance of them.

Gorgeous anytime but we love low tide so we can walk out on the flats and wade through the tidal pools. Sunsets are magical here and at high tides the quintessential fishing boats go in and out of the harbor. Grab a coffee or specialty...More

It's lovely here. You can walk for miles, firstly along the estuary and then farther afield across the marsh and beach when the tide is out. With shallow and gentle waves, at low tide, it's safe and ideal for families.
