A really lovely structure in a very scenic environment. Located in the Martha's Vineyard Campground Association, this place is very lovely.

You can walk all around the tabernacle which is surrounded by the Cottages. Take you time and enjoy the walk all around the association

Do not miss this if you have the time. The structure replaced a canvas tent of similar size in the late 19th century. Set in a lovely oak grove. The site of frequent events.

It is a historic location and well worth seeing as part of the Wesleyan campground. Even more interesting are the Gingerbread houses, formerly cottages, surrounding the tabernacle. Take a tour of the Vineyard so this location will be put into an historical context for you.

The "gingerbread cottages" are cute. Park and spend 30 minutes or so just strolling the park loop and seeing the cute houses.

Loved walking around here and hearing our guide tell us the history. Gingerbread cottages are just lovely. The tabernacle stained glass windows are beautiful. Recommend. Would come back here.
