Tour Martha's Vineyard in a 14 passenger, a/c touring van. Fully narrated by local, knowledgeable, and friendly guides. Our famous one hour tour, or, a 2.5 to 3 hour tour, which covers the entire island with great stops at the clay cliffs of Aquinnah and the working fishing village of Menemsha. See lighthouses, historic whaling captain homes from the 1800's on the streets of Edgartown. Enjoy Oak Bluffs, a Victorian style summer resort built around the historic Methodist Campground. We also offer 2 hour and customized tours. We travel to many places the "tour bus" cannot go....Martha's Vineyard Transport is the original van tour company, and now its seems Martha's Vineyard Excursion (ex neighbor employee) .not only copied are business plan, but also our ad picture of the van at the East Chop lighthouse..

We visited the area and having crossed on the ferry, decided to arrange an island tour. Regrettably we engaged this company whose charges were excessive for what proved to be a very, very poor excursion. Being foreign tourists we felt that we were taken advantage of when it came to cost. We reluctantly accepted as we were only there for... More

I can not believe that this reviewer took a tour with Martha's Vineyard tours and transportation...review written 4 months after tour. maybe has the name wrong. ..My drivers have clean vans , and dress clean and neat.. professional tours, fully narrated, not going for a ride.. We do not cheat foreigners by charging them more. that could not happen if... More

Dave Alton was AMAZING!!! this tour had tons of little tidbits that I love. All the behind the scene details for the movie Jaws and the locations of filming. If you are a Jaws fan this is the place for you!!!! The day was beautiful. My head was so packed with nuggets of info I thought it would explode. In a good... More

Last minute decision and the best one we made. They were very accommodating for a last minute tour during Thanksgiving weekend. Plan on a visit in the near future.

Took day trip to Martha's Vineyard with friends. Walked around and then took the bus and small boat to Chappaquiddick. Beautiful! Met a great local named, Anne who told us about some of the history and little known facts about the community. The bus ride was inexpensive and a great way to get around...a little crowded at times but taking... More

My husband & I come to MV at least once a year. We were there mid-September for a long weekend with a good friend who'd only visited once before and wanted to learn more. Even though we come every Thanksgiving, got married here, and take the occasional Spring trip, too, we wanted to learn even more about one of our... More

typical small tour bus with good itineraries...worse the investment if youve never been to mv before...stay away from gayhead beach iunless you have 2-3 hours in the day to set aside to get there and back...

We loved our tour with MV Tours and Transport. We parked our car in Falmouth, caught the free shuttle to the ferry and then Sam (our tour guide) met us at the ferry (ferry ride was 45 mins from Wood's Hole to VH) in Vineyard Haven. Sam lives on the island and has been visiting MV since he was a... More

The vans of MV Tours is the very best way to see the entire island. We really enjoyed our day and really saw all parts of the island. Our guide was a local with great info to share. We highly recommend this tour for your first day on the island.
