Nice trails, convenient location, but they are really not open all that much. Even this winter, which has had a fair bit of snow, when they are open the conditions are pretty good, but more often than not they are simply closed. Also always closed...More

We visit NMREC frequently because of the trails, the beautifully kept riverfront park, and the boat ride in warmer months and the snowshoeing and x-c skiing in winter. A sure bet when traveling to and through the Upper Pioneer Valley!

The staff is incredible, and they get kids out into nature & noticing things they would not be aware of. Great facility, and terrific teachers.

One of my best days out cross country skiing was here. Though the parking lot was full, we barely saw a soul. The sky was clear blue, the trails were silky smooth, and the sun was warm on our backs.
