It is true that the tables are packed in tight, the chairs are not super comfy, but everyone had a seat for the sold out show we attended. The casual burger fare was good for what it was, I enjoyed a southwest grilled chicken sandwich. The service was great and no one's beer glass ran dry. Located near Main St... More

We always love the performers, but the place is so very crowded, you can't get up and move around without asking people to pull in their chairs. The "handicap" bathroom is behind the kitchen, is really and employees bathroom and is filthy....really filthy. The ones downstairs are pretty filthy also. The sandwiches and burgers.....meat was ok, but the buns just... More

This used to be the absolute best place to see live music in a small scale setting. Sadly the managment has let the place fall apart (literally) The chairs ar rickity the bathrooms are discusting the food is mediocre and the actual paper menus have been in use probably since the day it opened. I also believe it is a... More

I am literally at The Iron Horse Music Hall right now. For some reason they sell about a hundred more tickets than they have seats for, but don't actually provide anywhere to stand. The waitress asked us to move from where we were standing because we were blocking the people who managed to get seats, but the spot she told... More

This venue treats their visiting artists like second class citizens. Their facilities are also abysmal. I will never see a show here again.

I live locally and Northampton is a great city for nightlife. "The Horse" is a legend for local and national artists. They also have pretty darn good food!

Iron horse has a great selection of bands and the food is terrific.Only problem is the seating. It is a small venue and upstairs in the balcony,it's really cramped in between tables.I will still go again if the right band for me is playing.

We'd seen our favorite band at Infinity Hall Norfolk (CT) and Infinity Hall Hartford, which have comfortable auditorium seating and terrific acoustics. We'd heard Iron Horse had cafe seating and good acoustics. Food was decent, prices were reasonable, wait staff competent. But the wooden chairs were hard and we were so cramped that we couldn't get comfortable. We THINK the... More

Good friendly service, good music, but the upstairs was insufferably hot with no air flow. I had to leave the building twice during the show just to get fresh air. Our whole group was hoping the show would end despite the good music.

My wife and I went to the Iron horse last week to see " The record Company" perform. The Band was incredible, and only helped. The inside decor is pretty simple. A couple of levels of seating makes it feel unique. Not a bad seat in the house. The staff is really on it and organized. The biggest shock to... More
