Looking at the exteror of this church one is totaaly unprepared for the magnificent interior. It takes about an hour to get here from ascuncion but it is well worth taking the time.

This church is packed with history. Taking a diversion off the main road or popping down from Asuncion (about an hour away) is really worth it. With some recent restorations this church is just beautiful.
