Small municipal park of North Adams, MA occupies approx 1/2 of Windsor Lake at the top of Bradley Street. Summer usage include camping, swimming, hiking, picnicking and canoeing/kayaking. Seasonal usage sometimes requires a small, but modest fee.( e.g. camping/picnicking.) During the summer, a weekly evening musical series with a variety of local bands is open and free to the public.

This is a fabulous little lake! It is a great place to go and spend the day picnicking, hiking, boating, (non-motorized only), or swimming (lifeguard on duty). There is a brand new playground and newly renovated bathrooms, changing rooms and a snack bar. It is in the center of North Adams, but you feel miles away from civilization when you... More

Hey Everyone, let me start by saying, this place use to be awesome...back when i was a kid in like the 80s It is still absolutely beautiful...minus the people.Everyone smokes, lots of inappropriate behavior, by this i mean swearing, fighting, yelling etc... not a peaceful place. Water is not very clean. Id say skip it on a weekend or holiday.... More

We reserved the pavilion and had a wonderful family event there. The location is lovely, restrooms are close and clean. The lake was a little low as they did some draining for weeding purposes, but people swam at the beach and seemed to enjoy. Pretty lake and nice little park.

This is a beautiful place to picnic and lay out in the sun. However the day we went (8/16/15), the "beach" was closed to swimming because of E. coli found in the water. Don't know when swinging will be allowed again. Hope they do allow it soon. Very beautiful, seven spot!

This is a nice lake within the city, however there was no change room and the washrooms were out of order when I went. Big play area for children.

This is a nice lake. It can get crowded in the summer with summer camps but it is very pretty. There is a playground and a snack shop.
