How much you like this place may depend on how much you appreciate contemporary art. For me, most of what I've seen at Mass Moca is intriguing and memorable, some has seemed pretentious. Others may have those ratios opposite. Even so, the experience is the museum is unique, in its industrial factory setting, nestled in the mountains.

Great museum and atmosphere or the money. I highly recommend trying-out the museum for yourself. It's one of the best I've ever gone to. Thank you.

Beautiful museum in an old textile plant. will be the largest contemporary art museum in the country by 2017. Definitely worth the visit if you are in the area for any other reason.

This museum was overwhelming. The art is varied and impressive. We were unable to see or absorb all of it, so will have to return.

After a weekend spent in NYC'S museums, this turned out to actually be more interesting than the Whitney. Amazing spaces, daring exhibits and also the gift shop has a fun variety of souvenirs.

The building is large and so accommodating for the expansive exhibitions that are at Mass MOCA. A very interesting collection that changes periodically. A must visit for us any time we are in the Berkshires! We especially enjoyed the first floor installation of stools by Christopher Chiappa!

The usual exhibits are often pretentious wastes of space. The acclaimed Sol Lewitt is one such exhibit of emperor's new clothes -- one wishes that the space had been allocated instead for the homeless. However, every now and then they pull off an astonishing exhibit like the double Phoenix. Theater and music are largely overhyped, but the appearances of Alloy... More

This was our second visit to Mass MoCA, but the first with our ten year old grandchildren. This is a most unique attraction and not to be missed. It is an old factory complex just off route 2 in North Adams that now houses a museum of avant garde art. The exhibitions are often huge displays that fill cavernous factory... More

Brought my creative 10 year old and my not so creative 20 year old to Mass MoCA today and we were all blown away. I had heard great things, but truly, the art and the galleries are amazing.Excited to share it with the rest of the family. Favorite exhibits today were Chiappa's stools, the "space jazz" walk-through tunnel, and Sol... More
