I found out about Glendale Falls a few decades ago and it still remains one of my favorite spots in WMass. A little tricky to find, get out your compass and GPS, but well worth the effort. A small parking lot will mark the entry point with signage that explains the area. A series of rock formations allow water to... More

I think GPS took us to the wrong spot! Don't use GPS!!!! Great family experience though as we laughed the entire time with stories of how we were all gonna be killed and stashed in the woods. Creepy, never got out of the car. Glad my husband had a knife. Was like a ride down a dirt road in a... More

It is a great drive to a beautiful spot. Bring bug spray and good shoes for walking on the rocks. There is a path down to the bottom that makes it easy. Even in mid July with low water flow it is still worth the trip.

It's a beautiful waterfall. You can climb all over the rocks and falls. The water is a bit green so I don't suggest swimming but otherwise it's beautiful and only a short walk from the parking area.

I had not been to Glendale Falls in 40 plus years but it was just as I remembered it, although there was a lot less water because of the water shortage. That being said we were able to climb down a little ways and sit on the rocks and just enjoy the scenery and the company. They do have a... More

Lovely & safe trail my child of three enjoyed, if you have toddlers life saver vest is highly recommended. We got to see a couple of deers in the nearby area and make a stop to pick some berries.

Whether you hike or just sit among the rocks it's worth the drive. Very picturesque both the view and the falls. Best when there is plenty of water but still pretty even in a dry spell. Well kept and maintained trail to the bottom of falls. It's truly out in the middle of nowhere but don't get discouraged it's worth... More

Do yourself a favor and visit the Glendale Falls. The views are very impressive! We hiked all the way to the bottom and it was a blast. Even if you are not a strong hiker you can walk to the top from the parking lot and still have amazing views. This is a family friendly activity...everyone will enjoy the view... More

You start stepping downhill almost immediately as the parking lot is only a few hundred feet from the top of the falls. When you find your way to the bottom you are rewarded by a pretty spectacular sight. Would be a fun place to hang out on a warm summer day.

What a great find! To easily get to the bottom of the falls, take the trail! Hiking down the rocks is tough! Wear your bathing suit and swim in the pools and falls! Absolutely gorgeous!!!
