I recently visited Glendale Falls in July 2017. I went early in the morning, arriving around 8. Car park was empty, perfect. Im a nature photographer and love waterfalls. The best time to shoot them is when no one is around. There is a short...More

We checked out the falls and the ruins (mill site?). Less than 1/2 mile of hiking. Went on a hot Sunday morning and only 3 other cars in the parking area. Nice hidden quiet place.

This was the ninth and final waterfall on our four day tour! It was a sight to behold! We hung out, relaxed, hiked a bit... mostly we relaxed and just listened to the falls!

Tried to visit in early April. Closed roads, almost got stuck, and GPS took us to the middle of a road of private properties. Website should be more precise!

I officiated as a Justice of the Peace at a wedding at Glendale Falls. The view is breathtaking and it was so peaceful and beautiful there. Definitely a great wedding location, picnics, or just to sit and relax and enjoy the day.

I found out about Glendale Falls a few decades ago and it still remains one of my favorite spots in WMass. A little tricky to find, get out your compass and GPS, but well worth the effort. A small parking lot will mark the entry...More

I think GPS took us to the wrong spot! Don't use GPS!!!! Great family experience though as we laughed the entire time with stories of how we were all gonna be killed and stashed in the woods. Creepy, never got out of the car. Glad...More

It is a great drive to a beautiful spot. Bring bug spray and good shoes for walking on the rocks. There is a path down to the bottom that makes it easy. Even in mid July with low water flow it is still worth the...More

It's a beautiful waterfall. You can climb all over the rocks and falls. The water is a bit green so I don't suggest swimming but otherwise it's beautiful and only a short walk from the parking area.
