Lowell Holly is across from our property in Mashpee, although it is officially in Sandwich, Ma We see all kinds of wildlife there. Many birds. Great Herons, woodpeckers, coyotes, many trails, and a few beaches.

A longer (but quiet) walk from the off-season parking lot. Had the place to myself for a 3 mile run in the woods. Very scenic, nice mix of single-track and wide dirt roads. Plenty of water-side trail with views. About 5 miles of trail total.

This area is managed by the Trustees of Reservations and it is lovely for a walk. There is variety in the vegetation and you often have views of the lakes that surround Lowell Holly.

Good springtime walk. Very limited parking in April, but also very few people on the trails. Peaceful walk in the woods to a pond and peninsula. Choice of a fire-road type trail or a woods trail. We did a loop, one way on each.
