This was tiiiiiite! Went with my buddy's, the walk up to the house is a beautiful pathway through the trees over marble bridges. When you get in the house, you can see it was owned by eccentrics. If you love ART, you will love this!

The home itself is a well preserved historical home from the 1930s-40s. The furnishings, fixtures and artwork are remarkable. My favorite is a small Picasso postcard that is whimsical and autobiographical in the extreme regarding Picasso's relationship with his wife, one mistress and his daughter--this...More

Our guide was impressively knowledgeable and covered a great deal of information while leading us through the house and finally studio. The architecture is unique, but is showing its age and has deteriorated. Most rooms are original to the owners' taste and belongings.More

Talent, but not genius. Still, they gave it everything they had - and they had sufficient money to create this truly unique space. A glimpse into the elite American art milieu of the mid 20th century.

Yes, we have accommodations for those who cannot climb stairs and have a wheelchair or walker. We access the different levels with a golf cart transport. It is ideal to call ahead to make sure enough staff are available.
