This was a fabulous experience. We went to three concerts. A feast of top quality music in a wonderful country estate setting. People picnicking in the park and then settling in for a superb concert from the BSO and top soloists. Visiting from abroad, despite...More

We were fortunate enough to discover Tanglewood, while seeing Pete Townshend's Quadrophenia Show with the BSO!! Amazing show & wonderful venue! Pretty landscape/property & 'nice' feeling venue. Will be repeat visitors!

Have been to concerts at Tanglewood but just walking the grounds is equally inspiring; the crowds are gone and the place just exudes peace.

Tanglewood. The summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Tanglewood Festival Chorus (300 strong!), and a host of music schools. It doesn't get any better than this. You can dress formally, or casually. Both are OK. You can bring a picnic (formal or informal)...More
