We came from Maui to the area for a medical summit, Crane Beach was about a 20 minute drive from our hotel in Peabody. The beach and surrounding area was beautiful, it looked like there are hiking trails. I walked across the wide expanse of...More

This beach is most beautiful. The sand is great for long & interesting walks. We found interesting shells & sand dollars & there’s always the old ship wreak. While I like waves I still like the water here & by New England standards it’s relatively...More

We arrived around 4 pm and there is still a fee at the gate ($5). I guess we were charged that due to it being late. It is $10 for non members of thetrust.org and $5 for members for the day off season. The beach...More

It was our first time to Crane Beach, as we are visiting from England, and it was beautiful. Fantastic weather and a lovely walk with plenty of photo opportunities. Would love to come back and spend more time at this beach.

We were first time visitors to Crane beach on a beautiful weekday during the last week in September. It was a bit windy, not sure if this is a regular occurrence but if it is, it would be welcome on a hot summer day. The...More

Amazing Atlantic Beach. Vast vistas, gentle waves, family friendly. This beach is so welcoming- we try to visit on every summer trip to Mass. Beach amenities include snack bar, store, showers, changing areas & bathrooms. Easy walk through tall grasses to the sand.

We arrived at the tail end of hurricane Jose and got to see some good wave action and blustery winds. We visited off high season, which is our preference and so there were no crowds or sweltering heat. Still, it looks like a nice place...More

There are many beautiful beaches in the world and Crane Beach ranks with the best of them. A long beach - perfect for walking or just chilling, very soft sand, clean water, room to spread-out, new and well kept changing/rest rooms. There is a snack...More

Crane Beach (named after the Crane plumbing empire... think of Crane toilets) is an absolutely gorgeous beach. There is a shower area and some concessions. The view and experience is worth every bit of the $20-$40 entry charge.

A profoundly glorious site horses & dogs jubilant in the ocean. Off season however with climate change there are more & more unseasonably warm temperatures making "beach day" weather at much more affordable prices. However... More

The beach closes at sunset, so you won't be able to star gaze except outside the gate.
