We were looking for a place to go shopping close by to where we were staying in Barnstable because it was going to be a rainy day and not great beach weather. Alot of the shops and restaurants were not opened yet for the season....More

Great area to shop and go to eat at some restaurants. Very easily gotten by car or walking from many hotels in the area. Near all the harbor ships and ferry to go to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard.

Some nice shops, but not as quaint as Chatham, long not easy walk for older folks. Sort of spread out and not really inviting for in and out of shops, more walking with areas of no activities

Weather was rain and cold so we still wanted to walk through town, and had no problem finding parking and enjoyed the local stores and the friendly store-owners. Bought several gifts for our girls and had a wonderful time walking around.

Cute street with gift shops, restaurants, ice cream places. Not huge, but a great atmosphere to grab lunch or dinner.

So many nice shops, wonderful places to grab a snack. Not all shops open because we were there in early May but enough to have a wonderful time. Crepes across from JFK Museum should not be missed. Yum!

Lots of shops. Best if you can walk the length. Some not open in May, but enough, There's restaurants also and the JFK museum.

Yes! When you are facing the harbor, take a left and follow Ocean Street up to the set of lights. Across the street is a pathway that goes through the Village Green and brings you right to Main Street.

Many of the shops and restaurants put out water for pets on Main Street. There is also a fantastic pet store called Pupcakes, on Main Street, definitely check it out if you are in the area!
