Easy to get lost here so ensure you have time to get unlost. Good mountain biking trails. Can be very humid and mosquitoes/y so wear big spray. Sometimes feels a bit too remote and scary, bring your cell phones. You can stay on paved roads...More

We planned to spend 4 days exploring Boston and the surrounding area. This is probably the best option for an RV park near the area. The campground site had been recently renovated for electricity and there was a large big box next to the campfire...More

Miles of paved trails for walking, running or biking A pond for very fun fishing, and dirt trails for off-road mountain biking. There a natural spring for filling your water bottle, and the park even has a camp ground. Never know what you will see...More

Great hiking trails all laid out clearly, some paved, some not. Camping sites are available. You can get fresh water from the Blue Hills Springs, lots of people go there just for that, bring your own containers.

I visit Wompatuck almost every day to walk my dog. The trails are gorgeous in every season. Paved paths also make it perfect for a run (and since you are in the woods, you can stay out of the sun for the most part). In...More

Beautiful park, but if you are looking for full water and electric (no sewer) hookups, you will be sadly disappointed. They have electric at every site, however, no water, except for about every 8 sites or so, so you have to have an extra long...More

Found this State Park on our route to Boston. This is more a sight for hikers and campers not if you want to see significant historic landmarks. Enjoy the nature and it is not crowded.

They went through the trouble this year to upgrade all of the electrical service at the electrical sites but did not add water. Seems silly and a waste to do that and not bring water with it. Plus if you are trenching to put in...More

There are no bike rentals in the park. I am not sure where the nearest one is. Have you ever considered an electric bike?
