A tranquil place to visit and ramble

Firstly, I'll start off with what this is not: it is not a huge commercialized, sterilized visitors center with all mod cons. It is a quaint, small lavender business set along an unpaved lane in a wooded area. We visited, met the friendly host at the entrance building/store and she told us where to walk. Unfortunately, this late in the... More

I was a little disappointed. I like to be greeted by a human being, not a cash box requesting money if you want something.

Let me start by saying "I Love Lavender". We visited this lavender farm knowing it would just be lavender. The grounds were delightful and the gift shop was quaint with....yep, you guessed it....lavender! So I was in heaven. Beyond the gift shop is where you come to the fairy castle and then beyond that is a sea of ......right again... More

Stopped with my friend who loves lavender. The visit was pleasant but short. The gift shop, field, and fairy garden were all small but nice. It took us about 20 minutes to walk around the field.

We were driving by and decided to stop to see the farm; I had visited a large lavender farm in Yorkshire years ago and found it intriguing. This was totally different: set back in the woods, small, homey and charming. But totally worth the stop. Especially enjoyed the "fairly garden" feel of the whole place.

Not sure what people find to excite them about the Cape Cod Lavender Farm. After you drive down a tiny dirt lane for 1/4 mile you reach the "farm". The farm is actually a small shed with about 50 lavender plants growing out front that sells a few lavender products. I really question if there is even a Lavender Farm... More

I was imagining a lot more after looking at the website. The Fairy Garden was cute. I was expecting much more lavender to walk through. The 2 girls that were harvesting the plants couldn't answer any of my questions about the different types of plants only that the farm had 7 or them. I would have loved to see the... More

We were excited to go to this Lavender farm, we enjoyed the atmosphere of the aroma of the lavenders and the weather at the time we went. We brought a few things from the shop but the service wasn't welcoming and we felt strange, they both kept talking to each other about a locals divorce that we didn't care to... More

The google map wasn't very good, we had to call to get directions. While the owner was a very pleasant man and helpful, it definitely isn't a must see. The sold a few items in the adorable little shop If your in town and looking to take up a few minutes sure stop by, but I wouldn't leave your day... More

This farm is small, but charming. Most definitely worth an hour of your time if you're in the area. If you have young kids, take some pennies to make a gift at the 'fairy castle'. The Lavender/Lemon Jelly/Marmalade is a must try. Surprisingly good, we came back for more after our first visit 2 years ago. This time we walked... More
