This wildlife refuge has a terrific walking path. Largely accessible, with a raised boardwalk in places, benches, roofed sitting areas, and several stream side spots. A great place to walk, sit, read a book, all while surrounded by nature. Couldn’t be better

We took my 85-year-old father-in-law here because it offers an accessible outdoor experience: the paths are all navigable with a wheelchair. There are overlooks (some covered) every tenth of a mile or so where we could pause to enjoy the view. It was great to...More

This is one of my favorite places to go for a nature walk. You can see all kinds of birds. This is a mile walk with handicap accessibility. I enjoy strolling through with my granddaughter.

A gem of a walking trail. A one-mile loop through meadows, woods and wetlands, it is handicapped accessible. It features pull offs to savor views, with many benches along the way. A story walk will engage kids, and this is a perfect trail for young...More

This place is wonderful for adults and kids. There is plenty of parking, portable bathrooms, it's far enough off the main road that I could feel immersed in nature but not so far that I felt isolated or nervous being alone with the kids (2...More
