We have driven by many a time. We finally called and set up a visit. Very interesting historical items. Some buildings falling into disrepair. You can't just stop so plan ahead.

Amazing private collection representing the life's work of one man - who personally conducts the tour. It's a recreated village with artifacts from the 19th and early 20tj centuries.

Website said that it was open on holidays. Went on Columbus Day - no one around. Had e-mailed and called ahead of time - no answer. Seems to be an odd attraction.

Old Greenfield Village is only open by appointment and is not listed in the phone book, making it difficult to get to! The Chamber of Commerce can, no doubt, help you with that. We enjoyed visiting the school house, church, store, tinsmith's shop, and more....More
