A nice walk along the river--quiet and peaceful; beautiful! The walk is divided so that was a little confusing, but we found the other path. Very nice.

We take this very short walk virtually every time we happen to be in Great barrington. That noted, I would not go out of my way to take this very short walk. If you are in town and are looking for something to do for...More

Easy to find and if you want a short flat walk in town with some gurgling water and peace this is it. One part of the walk abuts a parking lot and it is hard to see the river over the brush. There is a...More

This is a nice stroll along the Housatonic River. It's not very long, but you quickly step into serenity and can enjoy the river written so eloquently about by W.E.B. DuBois. It's an easy walk for all ages.

Nice little walk along the river makes for some good after breakfast/lunch exercise. The only downfall of this walk is that it stops midway and you have to walk back out and around through some streets to get back on it. It's no longer than...More

Short walking path with some good areas to see and walk. Bad points are the path is two small, improper accesses due to the path being separate by privately owned homes and land. You can start next to Rite Aid thru the alleyway, but then...More
