This monument is on a nice boardwalk. Nice way to spend an afternoon reflecting over the water. Street parking was easy and convenient.

I'd never before seen this famous statue. Worth a visit in beautiful location. Very moving. The huge numbers of sailors lost in the 1800's is very surprising.

When visiting Gloucester for a whale watch (or any other purpose) stop by the memorial. Nice views. Opportunity to view an important feature of Gloucester. Viewing time 5 to 15 minutes.

Thank Ron S

Along the side of the street. As you enter Glouster center, there is a parking lot but it is usually full, but along the street is parking with meters.
