Perfect for a Dog Walk

I love bringing my dog here. She enjoys the exercise, I enjoy the view. During the winter, it will be pretty cold, but during the summer, it's absolutely perfect!

this was a fun walk. a lot of informative information about the oldest seaport in country. it's right on main st so there was a lot of traffic and traffic noise. many restaurants and bars around. well marked.

I would normally give this a ten just for the beauty of the ocean/ harbor. The sidewalk is sometimes uneven due to the weather, but, it needs to be walked at least once in your life due to the beauty and historical significance.

Being from Australia surrounded by 7 different oceans, it was nice to meander along the chilly waters of the Atlantic. Despite it being -3 degrees, the sun was shining brightly, reflecting off the water. If you love being near the ocean, walking in the sunshine and admiring the statues and commemorative plaques of fishermen past, then you'll love this walk.

The boulevard is a nice walk along the coast with a pass by the fisherman's memorial and fishermen's wife memorial, plenty of scenery on the water and a breath of fresh air as well

The HarborWalk as a whole is a great way to see Gloucesters working waterfront and learn it's history. If you walk, Start at Horbor loop and walk south. Follow the red painted line and various placed markers along the way. On the route, it will take you through downtown on the water, passing restaurants, a couple of convience stores, and... More

Gloucester is very inconsistent with its maintenance of its very scenic lands. This area is above average and they have recently replaced the public benches with new and more comfortable ones. The railings along this ocean boulevard are poorly maintained as is the south end of the structure. A major area of concrete separated some years ago and is fenced... More

Great place to stroll around, eat and watch wales. We loved the coastal atmosphere and the harbor. Fresh seafood is served at many places and people are super nice. I can only recommend to book a whale watching tour at 7 Seas and experience the local wild life. The tour will tell you a lot about the sanctuary, the animals... More

Every time we return to Massachusetts our first stop is Gloucester, the first and oldest seaport in the U.S. The harbor is beautiful and is overseen by the Gloucester Fisherman Monument. It's worth visiting this statue dedicated to all the fishermen who lost their lives from as far back as the 1600s. The inscription below the statue reads: "To they... More
