Last year we booked and he got sick and referred us to another charter that morning and we didn't get a bite. This year he threw out his back the morning of and referred us to someone else...

My husband and I hired Capt. Scott, and I caught a 28.5 in striped bass with my first cast! My husband caught a fish also, but it got hung up in a lobster trap, so after much waiting it out, we had to cut the line. He was so disappointed. But hey, I now have bragging rights!! :) My husband... More

Captain Scott did a great job accommodating our fishing needs. We caught lots of fish from COD, Pollock, Mackerel and a keeper Striper. He tried several areas and techniques. Very knowledgeable. Can't wait to try your new boat next year!! Thanks.

I'll give it to Scott--he knew where to find fish. We caught three almost keeper Stripers. He had the equipment ready and *almost* enough live bait. The trouble was that his manner was hard for the kids. His humor (?) is gruff and caustic. Our kids are not particularly sensitive, but he did a lot of (joking?) yelling at them,... More

My 12 year old son and myself had a ton of fun, caught fish and the weather was great. Capt Scott is great with kids and is very helpful. I am booking another trip with Scott. Thanks again Collin and Mike Boudreau

After having been on a big fishing charter boat where we experienced tangled lines and no personal attention we knew we were looking for something different. We chartered a trip with Charlie's Charters and Captain Scotty and that is just what we got! We went out in the morning and fished for our bait, then we went on and fished... More

After a great trip last year, I just completed another charter with Capt. Scott and my twin eleven year-old boys. On both occasions, Scott took us on a safe, comfortable and cuss-less ride around Gloucester harbor while instructing us on how to catch live bait (mackerel) and striped bass, most of which were keepers. Scott is a local, well-respected captain... More

We hired Captain Scott to help us with a burial at sea. The whole experience was exceptional. Capt. Scott was accomodating and curtious and by the end of the trip we are happy to now call him our friend. He knows the area better than most and is happy to share the history of the sea. A good man.

Capt Scott was great we had a wonderful time and caught lots of fish thanks to his extensive knowledge of coastal gloucester fishing. He was also very knowledgable about Gloucesters historic harbor being Americas oldest fishing port he had lots of stories to tell.
