A National Register of Historic Places district and longtime artist's colony with interesting buildings overlooking the harbor. Don't miss the marine railway.

Many galleries line this pretty area. You can tour the galleries and stop for a nice meal along the way. If the weather isn't cooperating, this is a great activity.

It is a stretch to call this an Art Colony, but it provides a great view of a little bay with ships and typical New England style homes along the shore line.
