We had booked the trip to Martha's Vineyard months ago based on the reviews we had read. We arrived just as the ship was about to leave their mooring and were welcomed as if we had been in line for hours, Nice interaction. We chose the aft open deck on the way over and moved around throughout the trip to... More

Bought tickets at the ferry terminal office .you can buy tickets for Martha,s vineyard bus tour at the office too ,we bought our tickets on the ferry.only negative point is all tickets have to be paid by cash. Silly system,as no where in the world now cash is the only way to pay specially big amounts!! Anyway we knew about... More

Very convenient and always on time. Mostly services Oaks Bluff, which we prefer anyway. There are several places to park, for a fee.

This was our first trip to Martha's Vineyard and you must tale a ferry to get there. Island Queen staff was very friendly, courteous and on time with their schedule. The sailing is 35 minutes from Falmouth to Oak Bluffs and we were able to walk to our hotel upon arrival. If you are travelling to Oak Bluffs definitely take... More

We purchased our tickets ahead of time at our hotel and waited just 10 minutes to board. The ferry left on time and arrived 1/2 hour later to Martha's Vineyard

Island Queen was a nice quick ride from Falmouth Harbor to Martha's Vineyard. The ferries left on time and had a good number of crew onboard and circulating to assist passengers. A snack bar was available.

Professional appearance of staff and ship, felt the parking charge was a bit excessive as they have a captive audience. Ship clean, quick and easy on and off, ran to schedule.

Have been on all the ferries from the Cape to MV, this is the most reasonable, reliable and easiest way to go. Park in the pay lot a few hundred feet away, buy your tickets and board..simple. There is a snack bar and it is a nice quick 35m ride. Patriot is cheaper (definitely no frills) and Sandpiper is pricier... More

As Ferry trips go, my family has not taken many, but the Island Queen was efficient, clean with friendly staff. There was ample seating for everyone, it departed and adhered to its posted schedule. Riders were moved on and off in an efficient manner. There was plenty of parking within easy walking distance to the launch, but if you had... More

Nice boat, competent and friendly staff. The vessel was seaworthy and comfortable although some seats could do with a refurb. The crossing was fairly swift and the pick up and drop off points were convenient. We saved one dollar on each ticket by buying at our hotel.
