The tours are for all ages, family-friendly, singles, couples, or groups. The fleet size and it's maintained details are well worth the visit. Walk on the ships of our history's past, they sit close together like time capsules. You feel the honor from within of the men who served on these magnificent vessels. From Battleship, to PT Cruiser, to Submarine,... More

My husband and I have visited a number of aircraft carriers in different U.S. cities, but it was very interesting to have so many historical water craft to visit in one location. It was fascinating to walk around the battleship. I greatly enjoyed that we were permitted to explore up and down passages inside, chambers with guns, narrow spaces, hallways,... More

Before traveling the last leg of your trip to the Cape and Islands. Be sure to stop at Battleship Cove in Fall River MA. Your kids will love the many Navy Vessels that are waiting to be explored. Not a wallet buster and lots of WWII history to hear and see. Tours available and Marine Museum within walking distance. Spend... More

The people working do an excellent job at maintaining such a large fleet of ships for everyone to be able to learn. Many displays and information regarding wars past and present.

My thanks to those who served our country, and especially to those who served on the USS Fall River. It was in the first and last wars of WWII and still stands today. There is a snack bar located on ship, but it is expensive. There are also bathrooms only at the main entrance, so "go" before you go.

Battleship Cove is a really nice attraction suitable for all ages. It does require climbing and paying attention to your footing. The USS Massachusetts (Big Mamie) is huge and there are so many fascinating artifacts - I would say a good amount of your time will be spent here. It's warm below deck so it's perfect even for a cold... More

Once again I was visiting the area for a few weeks, and it wouldn't be complete without several visits to my favorite battleship! One time, I met my cousin and his girlfriend there....it was their first time there. They were both very impressed! I also met the new curator, and she was very nice. My pet rabbit "Narvik was also... More
