Our group had a great time at the Lizzie Borden House. Our tour guide, Ryan, and the gift shop did a great job of balancing humor, history, and the paranormal. Want something campy? You can get a photo with a plastic hatchet on the couch where Mr. Borden was killed. You can buy golf balls that say "Keep Hacking Away".... More

Very interesting first hand experience of a historical murder mystery. Takes about an hour and is well worth the time.

We stayed a night and it was very interesting. Our guide, Sue, gave us the tour, talked about the family, history, the murders, and the paranormal. After; we sat and tried to communicate with the spirits. She spent a couple of hours with us. After that she left and because of a snow storm, we were the only living spirits... More

Our tour guide Richard was a natural storyteller who led us from room to room laying out the background of the Borden family relationships and what happened the day of the murder, what led up to it, and the aftermath. It is a bright and attractive Victorian house, not a dark and gloomy space. There are three flights of stairs,... More

He made the whole experience great.. you think you know the story because you've heard it your whole life, but after today we aren't so sure anymore haha.. definitely worth checking out.. we will be doing the bed... In October they have actors and actresses from the period of time when the murders took place, posing as Lizzie, her father, stepmother and housekeeper. You will enjoy the tour of the actual house.

Immediately upon walking into the Lizzie Borden house I got a terrible feeling in my throat. My companions felt nauseous & had head aches. If you like the macabre, you must go to Lizzie's house. After stop by the Fall River Historical society & the cemetery where all of Lizzie's family is buried.
