Visited on recommendation of another traveller. Boys including my husband had an amazing time looking at the beautifully presented vehicles. Lots of reminiscing was had and talked about. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable. Lots of seating for those who are waiting for others...... Can highly recommend a visit.

Loved it here. Great collection of cars of my youth I wish I still owned! $18 entry fee. Muscle cars and porsches of particular interest bit some great little Fiats, Austins and even a Messerschmidt 3 wheeler. Plenty of motorcycles as well. Friendly staff running it love a chat. Well worth a visit!

Great Collection of Cars and motorbikes. Continually changing, today was a Honda Collection on view- a large range of m'bikes and Honda cars & coupes. A good little history video is worthwhile watching on the Longford Race track, very informative. Along with the Monaro caught on top of the Tasman Bridge disaster from the '70's. The Launceston Fire Brigade Dennis truck loooked fantastic. Would have liked to see a few more older historic cars.

Fantastic collection of classic cars from 1906 until late 90’s together with early motor cycles through Iconic Vincent Black Shadow and the ultimate Rice Burners.
All these vehicles are superbly restored and cared for by the friendly team of enthusiasts.
Interesting and informative text accompanies each exhibit.
There is lots of memorabilia on display with some films and a great museum shop. My favorites were a 900cc Kawasaki Z1 and a mint BSA Rocket Gold Star fabulous.

Great museum to visit, really good variety of older cars, as well as muscle cars and bikes, though the muscle cars were my favourite. Shop also has lots of older but nostalgic magazines, books, DVDs and other memorabilia. Highly recommend to those who like their cars, though there are good displays for those that aren't so into them.

Upfront I am not a car freak. Having said that I loved my time in the museum. Cars I wanted to own as a youth, cars I want to own now and a heap more. Well presented and an interesting display Even a car that hung off the end of the bridge in Hobart when the bridge was knocked down.

Amazing place!
We went with our 4yr daughter and while definitely didn't spend the 3hrs like others have on here (we were done in an hour), it was definitely worth the visit while in Launceston. Even our daughter thought it was great.
The staff were super friendly and the cars are just spectacular, although you're not allowed inside of them which was the only shame. But understandable too as they need to preserve them. The Holden exhibition was incredible and seeing Brocky's 05 was the highlight! can't recommend this place enough!

Read about this place in a recent Australian Road Rider magazine article. It is well worth a visit if you are in Launceston area.

There is a great collection of cars and bikes of various vintages. I really enjoyed looking at the Australian muscle cars. There were some stunning bikes too!

You will likely part with some cash when you walk through the gift shop at the end!!

Visited while staying in Launceston on the advice from a friend who had recently been and it certainly did not disappoint. A magnificent display of cars and motorbikes with easy access to all and an information sheet provided for each item. Definitely a must visit when staying in Launceston. A wheelchair friendly venue and a great variety of things in the gift shop.

Really wasn’t expecting much but decided to pop in as we were staying across the road. Wow was amazed at all if the cars on display and how spotlessly clean they were. Dylan and Finn were extremely friendly and helpful in explaining the history of the cars. Highly recommend even if you are not into cars.
