I toured this house through a 90 minute tour out of the Carnegie Museum in Edgartown. Very interesting for those who love history & seeing how old houses were built.

We have seen a lot of historical homes but this one was exceptional. Of course, our well trained docent help to point out features we would have missed otherwise. (Carnegie Library walks)

The tour of the homes and whaling church were fascinating. The tour guide has lived here since the 1970s and is very knowledgeable of the history of these buildings and the island in general. I'm sure it's much better than the drive-by sightseeing tours.

Wonderful old house set in the midst of busy little town. The grounds are gorgeous, the gardens to be envied. Love a little piece of history here in Edgartown.
