Surf's up! All the time at this beach. Been coming here for years, but sad to see effects of erosion and rising seas. Good family beach with plenty of free parking.

We went in July and had someone in the group in a wheel chair. The lifeguards we great .. they provided a wheel chair for the beach so he didn't have to miss out on the beach experience. :)

This beach never disappoints. If you love to people watch - this is your place. The vibe is good and the people friendly.

The waves are extreme and very powerful. You must be a good swimmer as the waves come crashing down and could easily disorient the not-so-good swimmer. Not a kid beach because of the water. My crew loved the water, but they are all strong swimmers.

Really nice family friendly beach open to all. Nice bike ride down from Edgartown took about 20 minutes. The water was a nice temperature and there was plenty of space on a summer weekend for everyone to have their own spot.
