Rhododendrons were just barely past peak, so this was a beautiful walk in early June. Several places to sit and contemplate the beautiful grounds.

Having lost count on the visits here, I will never tire of spending time here. This visit was at the apex of a late spring: Rhoddies, azaleas, peonies, berries and fern, bursting with color. Walkways and waterways gracefully winding throughout the peaceful property, inviting guest...More

This is a must-see on Chappaquiddick. Many thanks to the Edgartown North Water Street Art Gallery owner for telling us about this place.

As you head out from the On-Time Ferry along the main road that goes to the other end of this small island that is just a three-minute ferry ride from Edgartown, the road curves to the right but you see a dirt road in front...More

We went in April and there was only the color of daffodils and hyacinths. The garden is large and multilevel. I can't wait to go back and see it in the summer or fall.

Worth a visit if you are visiting this part of M.V, and/or if you love nature walks. Other than that, I would stick closer to Edgartown.

A small Japanese garden with lots of tropical trees. So the garden is never barren in a year. Even during winter days, the garden is full of green leaves which is pretty rare in new England area.

You can rent a bike and take the Chappell ferry over and ride bike to Mytoi. You could walk but it may be a mile or so from ferry dock

An hour is a fair amount of time; however it truly depends on the group size, age and interest in botany or landscape architecture or simple joy and peace of beauty and meditation. Each season lends its own perspectives and... More

Hi Nilda - exactly what the reviewer above mentioned. Mytoi is a quick hop, skip and jump to Edgartown, so that's the place to look for places to stay.
