Nauset Light Beach gets its name from the nearby Nauset Lighthouse. The beach is part of the National Seashore and is located in Eastham. Features of this mile-long beach include the huge sand dunes and a sandy beach with a step-like terrace. It is also the location of the long black cable that carried messages across the Atlantic Ocean. The... More

We enjoyed our entire day of exploring beaches and the light houses. History and beautiful views what more could you ask for.

Visited Nauset Light Beach recently and took an off-season walk on the beach. Very beautiful with breathtaking waves and the incoming tide. Even with significant cliff erosion, it is a spacious and scenic beach. Loved it!

Since it is located on Atlantic side, the waves are large and more inviting for teens. To access beach, a brief hike from the cliff is needed. There is restroom by parking lot but it is closed for the season.

The beach is beautiful, but the small bluffs overlooking the beach are being eroded way. It is essentially across the street from the lighthouse.

This beach is gorgeous. Was fun exploring looking for shells and shark teeth. Seals come close to shore. Water is beautiful and the view is just stunning.

Long and clean along the surf line for a walk. Breathtaking view from up top. Watch the seals, the sharks and an occasional whale.. Lovely meditation spot.

My husband and I visited this beach while in cape cod and we loved it! We are from Philly and used to very crowded beaches. This one is very off the grid and not crowded at all. Another great bonus was all the seals we sq!! There were dozens of seals swimming almost right up to the beach! It was... More

It's hard to rate a beach during an October visit, but I'll try. Essentially it was deserted in late October and quiet. Both my wife and I love the ocean, so it was perfect for us. Nice sand and very wide at low tide. Huge sand dunes.
