If you just want to walk a beautiful beach this a great. Or if you want to read a book while fully clothed it would be wonderful. But if you want swim, forget it. It is waay too cold. I am from MN and have...More
I heard that Duxbury Beach is fabulous. What I found was a dirty, litter strewn beach, With construction sand rather than white sand in parts. And an unfriendly staff at the parking lot. I'll never go back here, this doesn't live up to any expectation...More
Parking price is $20.00 but I guess that's normal - it is easy to get to the beach from the parking lot. We had lunch at the snack bar - it was expensive and wasn't very good - chicken fingers were burnt and the onion...More
Plenty of parking, $20 on weekends. Very clean. Real bathrooms with snack bar. On the other side of that is a small restaurant. Water is really cold, really rocky, need water shoes to get into the water.

This is a New England treasure, beautiful views, long stretch of beach to walk and plenty of parking. The facilities are small but do the job. Typical rocky edge of the water which people from outside the area won’t be used to, bring water shoes.
This beach is really quite lengthy and it is $20 to park. We arrived early, so there were plenty of spaces. It's a nice beach to walk on. It has a little restaurant with burgers, etc., and bathrooms. Really relaxing way to spend a day.
