We were lucky enough to be in Chatham on the day this house was open. It's an example of what life was like in Main Street in the 1800's. There is no entrance fee although a donation is entirely justified. We were shown round the house by Josette, a charming lady with an excellent knowledge of the enterprising Josiah Mayo... More
