We stayed three days at the park in August in section 6X. The sites in the park are varied. I deliberately picked our site (#146) in 6X because it looked like it was one of the larger sites and had more privacy. Which it did....More

Awesome place to go camping. Hard to get reservations but worth it as it is a great location on the cape with all the joys of camping.

We have camped at Nickerson in the past, but more recently we just go & swim at the public beach. It's warm, clear, beautiful and just right. You can rent boats a little bit away from the beach. Perfect place to tune and relax.

Visited some friends camping out overnight at this place and I was impressed. It is a pretty large place with all sorts of camp sites with a few huge ponds inside the grounds with boat launches and fishing spots and beaches for swimming. The camp...More

As someone who grew up camping in state parks along the East coast, I felt right at home here. Check-in was super easy and the staff gave me great directions to find my site way down in section 6. The sites themselves were a good...More

There are no sites directly on ponds. You have to walk down a trail to them

In general the sites away from the water and further out are larger and will be more private. Check out areas 6, 6x and 7.
