I went running through the entire park and it was beautiful. Very high quality trails, lots of beaches on fresh water lakes. Amazing water clarity. I for one do not like to swim where i cant see what I'm walking on or into. High quality Beaches with white sand.

Cliff pond is one of the largest freshwater ponds in Nickerson State park. You can park close to it and hike or canoe in the lake. Most people come here to have a stroll along the lake bank. It is a couple of hours easy walk with serene views. For fishermen though, the attraction is the trouts in Cliff pond.... More

Nickerson is a great park for fishing, hiking, cycling and day trips. There is a swim area on Flax pond with a nice beach. The trout fishing in the spring and fall is terrific as the ponds are all stocked a few times each. There is a wonderful paved bike trail through the park for hiking and cycling. Camping is... More

Park has tons of hiking trails. We were there in November when the camp ground was closed. Very quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a nice, relaxing walk on easy to cover trails.

We visited during a quiet time, a week after Labor Day. I was a little disappointed with our site, as it was misrepresented on the map provided on the website. That being said, the sites were nice and the facilities were exceptional. The restrooms and showers were incredibly clean and I couldn't believe the showers were free! That was a... More

MA state workers should rent busses and visit a state Park in NH to get an idea on how to clean bathrooms. Use the woods so much cleaner. This is a nice hiking park. Don't bike it....too Hilly.

We love camping at Nickerson. There is so much to do there. We went out on Flax pond on paddle boards we rented there (it was a bit to pricey, so next time we will try somewhere else). There is hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, bird watching, something for everyone.

It always delivers. Beautiful setting in the woods, clear ponds with nice sandy beaches. Very good location. Only con: very difficult to book a campsite.

We spent a day riding bikes on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. We rode a total of 52 miles, including a great section through Nickerson State Park. While the majority of the bike ride was flat, the section through Nickerson was hilly and more challenging, in a good way! At one point, after riding up a rise and rounding a... More

First time camping at Nickerson. Had no idea so big. Great for biking, trails everywhere. Crystal clear swimming kayaking ponds. The only thing they need is electrical sites! Extremely hot and humid last week when we were there in our camper!
