Nice trails with a variety of lengths, great beach. Can get busy in spring and summer with people surf fishing from the beach. If you come by please be sure to pick up after yourself. I live local and walk here often. Lots of wildlife can be seen if you are quiet and observant, deer and eagles are frequent sightings.

Tucked away on Kent Island, this park is opposite Sandy Point State Park. The only drawback is the parking within the park is limited, but not to worry there is plenty of parking on the approaching streets. This park has pretty much everything. There is a large grassy area for picnicking and plenty of room to toss the ol' frisbie.... More

Nature walk with some educational signs. Tidal Marsh, Beach, Meadow, nice mix. Signs highlighting relationship between man and bay. I would worry about bugs during the warmer weather though.

We visited Terrapin Nature Park when we stayed at nearby Kent Manor Inn. A boxed lunch was provided by the inn, and we took our bikes to the park. The scenery on our route varied from woods to marsh to bayfront overlooking the Bay Bridge. After bicycling for about an hour, we enjoyed our lunch at one of the picnic... More

Beautiful place for a stroll along the Chesapeake Bay. Good bird and critter watching. Also used by a lot of folks for fishing from the beach.

My guy lives in Stevensville and he asked what I'd like to do. So I checked on TripAdvisor and Terrapin Nature Park was my pick. So glad we did!!! Short trails (easy walking, NO hills) through wood, meadow and marsh and along the Bay. Great views of the Bay Bridge. The Cross Island trail also starts here. There is a... More

This was a nice little hike on a rather cool day. I had first stopped at the Visitor center and picked up information about the area. This was one of the recommendations from them, and I was so glad I chose to visit. Beautiful meadows still in bloom and fragrant with blossoming honeysuckle! Great views of the Bay Bridge and... This is not a big place, but it is lovely for a stroll down to the calm small beach and back. There is also a Cross Island trail that had a lot of runners and bikers on it which looked like fun. We'll visit again. We ate a Bridges in Kent Narrows afterwards - nearby and very nice right on... More

This was a beautiful little gem that we found. Great walking trails and a lovely beach right on the Chesapeake. Take some time to explore the park. Beautiful flowers, too.

I stumbled on this park on a bike ride and since it has become a great place to escape to. Very peaceful views, and a generally quiet and clean.
