What a great trip. We took the 3 day ocean road tour with the amazing Eddie as our guide. We had a fantastic time, there were only three of us on our tour which was great. There was a little hiccup with our accomocdation on the first night which was quickly delt with by Natural Treasure guys. Eddie's personal experience with doing these tours over so many years means he has all sorts of interesting and not so well known spots to take you. The food on this trip is amazing and the resurtaurant up in the hills on the first night did not only have amazing food and staff but even better views out over Apollo Bay. The rooms on the second night were fantastic and the shower was to die for, the food at this restaurant was also amazing, can highly recommend the Moscato (Koonara - Flowers for Lucy), staff here were also wonderful. Eddie is full of information of all the wonderful places you get to see ont this tour and in my opion it would be well worth requesting him as your guide, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Natural Tours and Eddie for an amazing experience.

We took the 2 day GOR trip while vacationing in Australia; we often do self-drive trips but wanted to relax and enjoy the journey while someone else did the driving ... and have the benefit of a guide. We selected NTT as it looked like a small, personalized tour company ... and we were not disappointed. The Great Ocean Road is a must if you are travelling in the Melbourne area.
Glen picked us up at our hotel and we were lucky enough to be the only couple booked that day ... so got a private tour! Unfortunately there was torrential rain and fog on day one, which disrupted our views, however Glen still managed to time our stops/adjust around the weather to make it an enjoyable day nonetheless. We tried to have a sense of humour about it and he even took us to a craft beer tasting as an alternative activity.
Spectacular dinner at Chris' and simple but decent cottage accommodation.
Did our rain forest walk in the morning and Day 2 was much better weather ... Glen made sure we had lots of time wherever we wanted to spend it; and we had spectacular views of the 12 apostles and coastline.
We highly recommend this tour to those looking for a more personal experience and a relaxed pace. Glen was an extremely knowledgeable and easy-going guide, and a very safe driver. (Someone in another review mentioned long silences but we appreciated having some quiet time vs having someone talking non-stop for 8-9 hours. ) The choices for meal stops were excellent and the mini-van was comfortable for the long days in the car. Thanks again for a great experience!

There were three of us on our trip. Very personally responsive tour and one that can be adapted depending on availability of the more remote sights and interests of those on the tour. Fantastic loding arrangements, a very knowledgeable guide (Paul), and an array of animal life enjoyed as we moved away from the coast. Paul avoided the crowds along the Great Ocean Road which was great. Easy conversation throughout. Heartily recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Great Ocean Road with Australian Natural Treasures. The highlights were the many stops along the coast for fantastic views. We were a small group (only 2 other tourists in our comfortable mini-van), so there was plenty of time for us to linger a little longer at some spots for a few more photos. Other highlights were the 1 km Mait's Rainforest walk in Great Otway National Park, where we walked under ancient tree ferns, and our stop near Kennett River where wild Crimson Rosellas and King Parrots ate out of our hands. The food was wonderful on both days, and our stay at the Beacon Point Villas was unforgettable. Our guide, Jurgen, was a great host, and well-informed about the history, geology and flora and fauna of the area. When I carelessly left my mobile behind at a cafe in Lorne, only 2 days before our trip home, Jurgen went out of his way to get in touch with the owner of the cafe and help arrange its return (and yes, I got it!). Highly recommended!

Overall, I enjoyed the tour. However, there were elements that detracted from my experience, but enjoyable overall.
Pros: Hotel pickup; great communication; reasonable pricing; well planned itinerary; some hidden, special treats; wildlife, amazing views, fantastic dinner; lovely rest stops; small group; personal guide who is respectful and caring.
Cons: Uncomfortable van seats; long periods of silence (To explain further, I'm loquacious and I like tidbits of information as part of my tours. Glen, our guide is reserved, he offered interesting info at stops, but seldom spoke unless a specific question was asked, and no music or background noise to break the silence, this made day one very long and somewhat boring) We rode back with Eddie who was much more jovial and talkative, a better fit for our personalities; terrible accommodation selection - yes, great views but tired, old, dusty and unkept).

The Great Ocean View Road has been on my bucket list for sometime and when we had the chance to head to Melbourne for business I decided to go earlier to see Great Ocean View Road.
Before we left I looked up tours to Great Ocean View Road and at first could only find tours in large buses or backpack style, which wasn't what I wanted. I was going with my husband and knew that if we self drove we would get lost growl at each other and it wouldn't be such an enjoyable trip!
Then I found Australian Natural Treasures Tours and was pleased to see they stayed overnight as I didn't want a rushed trip.
On the day of departure Jeremy director of company picked us up from our Hotel. We were the only couple on tour so got top individual attention! The weather was looking bad for the following day so Jeremy suggested we did the tour in reverse which was great he could be flexible.
Jeremy had a good clear loud voice so could be easily heard and was a good safe driver. The mini van was very comfortable to travel in.
We had a wonderful day viewing London Bridge Bay of Islands the Apostles and the stunning and impressive views of the coast. All the sights were a short walk too, and excellent walkways with good viewing platforms. It pays to wear a coat as very exposed so can be chilly, and comfortable walking shoes.
We had a lovely lunch stop at Port Campbell and you could have either picnic takeaway bakery type lighter lunch or there was several cafes with sit down meals.
That night we stayed at Apollo Bay and stayed on a high hill overlooking the bay at Beacon Point Ocean View Villas. The villas are up a steep drive but Jeremy was very capable at driving up to them. The villas had a fireplace that you could use and were self contained with cosy beds. Jeremy gave us some bird seed to fed the colourful birds that came to see us on the deck.
For dinner Jeremy came back and took us in the mini van to Chris for dinner which was a yummy meal in a restaurant even higher up than the villas. the meal was fine dinning with great service and nice wine. Jeremy sat with us for the meal and we had a good chatt showing him some pictures of our home town.
After a good sleep Jeremy picked us up at 8am which was a good time not too early like some tours. We then had an excellent breakie at Apollo Bay at Bay Leaf and had a nice walk along the pier. We enjoyed the walks on the tour and the no rush approach.
After another day of top scenery and a 1km walk through rainforest, a look at Lorne, for lunch, and a stop at Kennett River to see beautiful birds that you could feed from your hand. We also saw Koalas in trees all in natural environment.
We also had to detour as some of the Ocean Road was closed but had a wonderful drive through bush seeing wallabies in natural surroundings.
The two day one night tour was very professional friendly and unrushed, and max of 8 ppl so would always have very personal service.
I would highly recommend anyone to take this tour. We will have some fantastic memories and have some great pictures!
We hope to come back to Melbourne and take another tour with Australian Natural Treasures Touring company as we couldn't fault our trip and we thank Jeremy and the company for a wonderful trip.

I could write pages on how fantastic this three day trip from Melbourne to Adelaide was! Our driver/guide (Pierre) was so knowledgeable and we lost count of how many really interesting places we stopped to view and explore. I commented on all the wild freesias growing alongside to road and Pierre stopped to van to pick me one! The accommodation and meals were first class. We were fortunate in being a tour of only three, which meant we had lots of space - maybe the van would not have been so comfortable if it was full. Would definitely do it again (and ask for Pierre as our guide) and have no hesitation in recommending this trip.

We were lucky enough to enjoy an extended holiday in 2016 and this 3-day GOR tour is still one of our highlights. Great accommodation, food, places of interest and guide! Glen was great - from start to end he kept us informed.
Sorry it's taken a while Glen! We are still in contact with Chris and Karen.

This must be the best way to get from Melbourne to Adelaide. A really good driver/guide in Glen and excellent accommodation en route. The 2 hotels were very different as were the included meals so plenty of variety to show off what this area offers. Plenty of wildlife to see and fascinating and varied places of interest visited. I loved it.
