Good View

Very interesting! Built in 1827. The light has never gone out. You can climb to the top on the weekends in the Spring and Summer.

This northernmost lighthouse on the Chesapeake Bay was as modest as the boardwalk that leads up to it and came as quite a letdown after all I’d read beforehand on the internet. At 11 m tall it certainly isn’t big, though it looks solid and comes with an unusual 9-sided lantern. The old whale-fat lamps could be seen up to... More

went here with family and it was beautiful. Was told that you could go inside and walk up to the top but we chose not to do so, but think that if we return there, we may do it next time. Very nice can clean outside. Loved the American flag blowing in the wind.

On the National Register of Historical Places. Beautiful and quaint town. Located at the mouth of the Susquehanna River, Havre de Grace. Maryland, and head of the Chesapeake Bay. Known as "Harbor of Grace".. This is my family ancestors town. May boats in the harbor and marinas in summertime. A Memorial to John O'Neill on May 3, 1913 during the... More

I didn't know much about this lighthouse but I received am little history lesson. The view of the water around there is so relaxing. Lots of bald eagles which I thoroughly enjoyed. Loved this little town in general.

Concord Point Lighthouse was built in 1827, is one of the oldest lighthouses in continuous operation on the East coast and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This small attractive lighthouse is located on the Susquehanna River where it meets the tidal flow of the Chesapeake Bay. Unfortunately the lighthouse and keepers house across the street are... We love lighthouses so we are very biased! This one is small but has a neat keeper's house nearby and an interesting story from the War of 1812. It's worth a look!

As lighthouses go, nothing really interesting about this one. Not a real scenic view, but there it is, a lighthouse for those that enjoy this type of thing.

This is a really pretty area, and worth a visit, but the lighthouse is much smaller than I was expecting! It seems the lighthouse interior is only open during the summer, but still worth a visit to the water front to see the exterior.

Visitors limited to only two persons at one time allowing very private experience. Terrific photo ops from light room.
