Pack a lunch or pick up carry out and go to the park. The view of the water, boats and playground for kids is very nice. Their July 4th fireworks is well done and quite pretty done over the water. They have a summer time arts and crafts festival along with a summer time seafood festival that are both worth... More

On the banks of the Chesapeake Bay in Havre de Grace, Maryland you will find a lovely (and quiet) City owned marina. This quite well protected marina not only offers well cared for boat slips, a commercial watermen's haven, but also a neat open air snack cafe, an entrance to the Promenade, a park some 70 feet above it, and... Great open area park along the Chesapeake Bay. Tables and areas for picnicking. Wolud be great in the spring and summer for outdoors activities. Nice and peaceful walk today along the water.

I so enjoy grabbing a lunch, taking it to the park, sitting at one of the picnic tables and watching the water and boats go by. It is peaceful. After the picnic I like walking the along the water and seeing the ducks and the geese. It is also a good place to bring the kids or grandkids to play.

This quaint, waterfront park borders the Chesapeake Bay. It has a nice, small, playground for children, and a gazebo.

As noted, the park offers great views of the water and has so much potential. There are many good things about having this park...I agree. There just are not enough green spaces in Havre de Grace. The problem is that the city allows the carnival to completely control the park every July. They compact the grass and generally destroy the... More

This is a great pocket park that joins the HDG Marina and the residential area on the top of the hill. So not only does it afford great views of the harbor, but it also has nice picnic pavilions and BBQ grills. The really great things is that even by the waterfront, it has tons of parking. So even on... More
