Very accommodating owner.
Rooms suitable.
Bar staff pleasant except for 1 who treated you like you were retarded. Most un friendly. So not going back there.
What ashame.
I would return to the place .

Food has improved greatly since I last visited.
The hotel had a very off putting appearance of is staff and food served previously.

Visited this Hotel for the Thursday night $10 steak night and I was impressed. The steak I had was so tender and cooked to perfection. It is typically very busy on a Thursday night so was also impressed by the quick service. The beer is nice and cold, and the atmosphere is great. However you do have to remember to put on mozzy spray because the mosquitos can be a big problem.

When we arrived at the reception we were met with an unfriendly staff member who checked us in. Once we paid for our booking of a nights accommodation, she informed us that she thinks someone else is in the room. On taking us to the room, it looked like someone else was in there so another staff member came out and knocked on the door and questioned the guest on where and when they booked. By this time we were feeling uncomfortable and were advised that they have overbooked and they have no other rooms. We requested a refund which was given and by this time it was getting late and the staff all went home and we were left outside trying to find other accommodation. It was a disappointment after a long drive but fortunately we finally found somewhere in the nearby town.

We visited this place for a Sunday lunch as we had seen they had upgraded their premises and were keen to try it out. Well, the view of the beach may be great but the service we received was disgusting. Long story short, after waiting an hour and a half for our meals and enquiring about them, our food order had been lost. Not a big deal, mistakes happen. What is a big deal is the manager’s rude, ‘too bad so sad’ attitude towards it. As an apology, she offered us ice creams for the kids that were already part of their kids meal deal anyway. Poor form. She pretty much threw a tantrum when after another 25min wait one of our meals STILL hadn’t arrived and we gave up and asked for a refund. I have attempted to email them to share my concerns and they have chosen not to respond- not surprised to be honest. Atrocious service, very average food and poor customer service. No chance we will ever return… there are far better venues around who their value customers and deserve our money.

We did not stay at the hotel, rather we went to the restaurant for lunch and were very surprised at how good the food was, compared to the last time we visited (about 3 years ago - when the food was very ordinary). The new chef Aaron and assistant Flo have been creating food at the hotel for about a year. The salads, fish, calamari and prawn dishes were well presented and very tasty. Coconut prawns and rice were superb. The serving staff for drinks were also friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Have had two meals that we couldn't eat. Returned the pizza as the base was not cooked, it was just dough. The pizza cane back still with an uncooked base. Lamb Shank was cold in the middle, mashed potato like glue. Will not eat here again.

About 20km off the beaten frack from Ingham sits this wonderful hotel / pub. If your heading through around lunch (like we were) or around dinner time it’s well worth the trip.
The service was friendly, the prices more than acceptable, the view beautiful and the meals amazing.
My partner and I both had the Beef Burger with Onion rings and chips, and it was tasty with a house made patty. But looking at all the food that left the kitchen it was hard not to want one of everything.

Went for lunch Sunday.
Bought raffle tickets they were not drawn after 2 hrs we enquire to find out .
The person selling the raffle tickets was gone. Scammed.
The food was very bad.
We ordered oysters they were slimy we ate one and spat one out.
Arancini balls they dropped one off the plate as they delivered them.
Didn't even apologise.
The worst looking calamari I've ever seen.
The bar staff were very slow and unfriendly.
So sad for it was one of the nicest places to go for beachside lunch.
But service and food is absolutely 💯 discusting.

Can't complain about the customer service... there is none. A 1hour wait on a pretty quiet day with no explanation. Should be spending their money on staff training rather than worrying about installing a second bar.
