My wife and I took this trip today. We got Groupon tickets. The weather was poor but we had a nice time. I'm an ex railroader (31yrs), so I felt at home.

My family (2 adults, 2 kids, and a baby) went on the Christmas in July trip last night and we were pretty disappointed with the whole experience. $241 later... that experience shouldn't have been more that $100. The worst part is they charged me for...More

Nice train experience. Bought reserved dining tickets. Food and service were very good. Scenic well with the trees in splendor not so much. The conductor was great and the station was nice.

We booked the lunch train ride this past Sunday. The lunch cost about $20 in addition to the basic $47 for the train ride. The lunch was very nice and it was fun eating in a Classic train dining car with white table cloths and...More

My wife and I enjoyed the train ride and the food was very fancy as well as good, was also a desent portion size. The dinning car was set up nicely, the acting show was very pleasant to have going on while on the train.

Lots of fun for our toddler he enjoyed watching out the window and obviously loves trains. It's nice to stop in Frostburg and be able to walk around.

Everything was very organized from the start to the completion of our trip. It was very relaxed and enjoyable. I was especially impressed with the conductor, who was so informative about telling us different locations of things to view.

I've done this trip twice now, once in the past when they had the steam engine, the other time with the diesel. Both provide plenty of fun, however I am sure the steam is more popular based on the fact it's an older train and...More

Very interesting. We loved the buildings and history. We wished we had gone earlier in the day to take the train ride.

I think is 25 dollars. But they also have murder mystery themed rides among others. You can choose to eat from the concession or have a sit down meal. Don't forget to take in all of the history of the area.
