In mid October, we spent a long weekend sailing the Southern Chesapeake in a 39 ft sailboat, and spent our first night at a slip in the Somers Cove Marina. We could not have been happier with Somers Cove. Good location, right off the channel into Crisfield. They've got lots of space - 515 slips, apparently, including 75 particularly nice... More

Clean, lovely and nice. Staff very helpful. Outdoor pavilion is large, covered, with plenty of tables for large crowds, and for dancing too. Great place to host crab feast. Marina offers toss games, bikes, outdoor chess. Restrooms are clean, well lite and large. Nice place to stay over-night or for a few days.

Crisfield is the crab capital of the world and one of Maryland's hidden treasures. This is a historical small town on the bay, very clean, and slow pace. The local people are very courteous and nice. It’s a great getaway from the rat race, so please obey the speed limit and blend in to the charm of the town and... More

Dear Boaters, While Somers Cove is an outstanding marina, the management is excellent, beware of their cancellation policy for special events. Our boat club had 12 boats heading to Crisfield for Labor Day. We all called in and made reservations in advance and were told that the deposit was non-refundable, which is a 1 nights stay. Well, as we all... More

Went fishing on the Barbara Ann. I think the website should include that it is cash only, as we had to leave to find an ATM machine. This has been the first time I have ever gone fishing, where credit cards were not accepted. Person really flippant when I commented as much. However, the Captain and crew were excellant. Very... My wife and I had just spent two weeks cruising around the Chesapeake Bay in our 37 ft express power boat and wanted to see Crisfield. We called up Somers Cove and, as they had a slip for us, we motored in. But first we needed to refuel. At the fuel dock a crew of young ladies and a young... More

Stayed for 3 days this summer. Facility is spotless! Multiple bath houses that are clean and well air conditioned. Big pool and covered area. Laundry room and a boaters lounge, grills and corn hole, bikes and carts. Happen to be here during a bad storm with multiple lightning strikes in marina. The staff stayed through the storm (several hours after... More

This is one of the nicest marinas I have visited on Chesapeake Bay. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. Facilities are clean and plentiful. Laundry, pool, pavilion with grills, grocery store is 1 mile. Rent bikes free for 2 hours. Store carries all the basics you need. Highly recommend.

Visited June 23rd. The entire staff is wonderful and works to make sure you have a nice visit (they even treated us to a sample of “Smith Island Cake”)! Very clean facility, nice pool, close to town and convenient fuel, water and ice. We will be coming back. Very reasonable slip fees.

We have had a slip here for 2 years and find the marina to be run very well and to be efficient. It is always clean. Wish they had some outdoor trash cans, just a suggestion...
