We came from out of state recently for a concert. Parking was easy to get in and out of and plentiful. Once inside the price of drinks and food was just absurd. $6 for a small Gatorade $14 for a plastic cup full of frozen daiquiri. After the show we went to leave where we came in thinking well that... Lawn area and pavilion are both great options, they have a pretty good calendar each year, the beer could be cheaper but it's expensive anywhere

We paid for pavilion seating but we decided to walk around between bands during Weekend in the Country. We were thrilled to find the deck overlooking the entire venue at the very back of the lawn. It was the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful weather, the great music, people watching, and $5 beers!

Was able to see a few concerts there. Parking is usually good. Prices are fair, depending on who is playing. Sound is wonderful. We try to sit under cover in case it rains or you have showers. They sell souvenirs. All of the members who have gone with me have enjoyed and liked the sound and the atmosphere. Overall a... More

I saw Jill Scott. She was great. The venue was nice.It was packed but we had a great time. This is a great place for open air concerts.

Went to see one of my favorite bands play and celebrate 20 years of their music. They put on a great show and really love their fans. O.A.R stopped the show at one point so that we could see the Michael Phelps and the US swim team win the gold. Merriweather is a great place to watch shows. Not a... More

Good setting and venue for an outdoor concert. General lawn seating provides ample opportunity for great seats at a decent price. Show up early for a bit of tailgating...watch bring the kids due to the chances of recreational smoking going on.

This place has been a favorite for years, but has always been a little 'worn out' concerning the concessions and toilet rooms, but over the past 2 years, there has been great improvement. New restrooms and concessions, along with a rebuilt (and much taller) stagehouse has brought new excitement to the venue. Of course, the acts are always great, and... More

Saw O.A.R in August and didn't expect to eat or drink but the variety was so amazing just couldn't help myself...so many vendors with unusual choices. The grounds are well kept and the Concert was unbelievable.

Always loved this venue, given it's location. Parking is well organized. Staff were friendly. Excellent food choices. Tickets for events there are reasonably priced given they don't go through Ticketmaster or Live Nation. Only negatives were that the restrooms tend to be nasty as the evening progresses. The venue itself seems to be long overdue for some re-construction given it's... More
