A trip to this small museum is well worth it. It's small but has a great collection of the first decade of flight, which started there. It is worth an hour or two of your time.

It was $5 pp to get in. The young gentlemen who took our tickets gave us information regarding the airport which is still in use on the property and the museum history with the Wright Brothers for about 5 mins then we just meandered around...More

We spent a little over an hour, but it was a nice visit. We got a Groupon that cost $6 for 2 adults and 2 children, which was a great deal. The animated Wright Brother was fun to see. The kids enjoyed making parachutes and...More

Wow, talk about a hidden gem! The only reason I knew about this museum was a colleague recommended it. It's tucked away from the main roads and is bursting with aviation history that will interest both kids and adults. It's not very big, so you...More

If you have an interest in early aviation (or have a child who is interested), this affordable museum is for you! Affiliated with the Smithsonian, this museum and active airstrip has several full size airplane exhibits including a Jenny. They focus on the Wright brothers,...More

A surprisingly nice museum about the history of flight without the crowds at the Smithsonian. A quiet museum just beside the College Park Airport that has its own place in the history of flight. Several planes, flight simulators and more.

Wonderful place for elementary age children; we had a toddler and there were some activities he could do as well. Price is extremely reasonable and staff very courtous and accomodating.

Located next to the oldest operating airport in the US, this small museum has some wonderfully restored old planes. It is worth it for anyone that appreciates planes from nearly a century ago. The place is clean and easy to find. Plenty of parking.

We went for the holiday model train exhibit but found the rest of the museum just as interesting if not more so. The train layout had three tracks with multiple trains running. People seemed to love it but, to be honest, I think the one...More
