This is an old original light house just off the tip of Nubble Point. it is an actual island although a low tide can leave at path. IT can't be visited, but it is certainly worth seeing whether during a storm or on a bright, sunny day.

Beautiful lighthouse with beautiful rocky cliffs. Was here during the week and was quite crowded but still enjoyed my visit.

The stand-out landmark looked majestic joined to its quaint building sporting the Stars and Stripes fluttering in the breeze, all looking resplendent even in the overcast sky. For the keen photographer there was much variety to be had moving away from the roadside, with lovely wildflowers near rocks and a handsome gift shop nearby.

Third time up here and it never gets old, beautiful views, morning, afternoon or evening. Great parking spots, plenty of room to move around to get the perfect postcard picture.

Had to make a stop at Nubble Light. Had 2 perfect days for photos. Too bad there were no early morning clouds for great photos. Many eider in the waters by the lighthouse.

We stopped in at early morning on a somewhat cloudy day but it was still beautiful. Enjoyed the sound of the surf on the rocks and walked around the park looking at the birds. It is a very well maintained park and you shouldn't miss it when you come to the area.

Thank Melinda H
