3 lovely mains, pasta and steak based (hubby said best he had ever had), a side of garlic bread, 3 stunning puds, wine and a soft drink for £80. The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff friendly. Would definitely go back

Choose festive menu. Starters ok, main course advertised as 'medallions' of turkey, instead we got thick mis-shaped pieces of tough meat, almost like boiled meat, didnt taste like turkey. The potatoes were so hard and dry we couldn't get our knifes to cut them, meal was only warm, nothing hot. We did eat some of the meat but did felt... More

Afterward Jefferd's tavern we toured the old one room school house. There were original ink stains from the old ink wells. Very interesting to see and didn’t take long maybe a half an hour. But worth stopping in to see if you have the time to see these amazing pieces of history.

Old 1 room schoolhouse next to visitor center makes you wonder how/what children learned. Part of the museum grouping
