It took about 30-45 min to get up for everyone, at the top is a 360 degree view from ocean to presidentials in NH. Really nice morning hike before brunch :-)

Nothing too treacherous, but definite potential to be a workout. Many trails connected to let you explore more than he summit. Trails mostly marked, but "maps.me" app came in handy. Nice view from the top - probably gorgeous in the fall.

When you have knee replacement surgery (not me, KW) on the horizon you drive to the top. While hiking would've been great fun, we still had the opportunity to take in various views and vistas that were quite spectacular. There are fantastic markings to guide...More

A nice place for a hike in Maine. You can drive to the top and enjoy the views and nature center or hike a variety of paths up. Our 3 year old was able to hike all the way up. It's only a 300 foot...More

No swimming spots on mountain. Many lakes, rivers and ocean near by. Most motels have pools.. Enjoy the mountain; then enjoy a swim.

Mt. Agamenticus is only 500 feet tall, so it isn't the largest mountain in the area. Mt. A is southwest of Kennebunkport and southwest of Ogunquit.
