The dog beach at Wells was a blast for the kids and the dog. Everywhere there was kind and responsible owners, which made the beach feel very safe and relaxing

Beautiful beach and area to watch waves crashing at night from the benches on Mile Road Food and stores in this area are fun to eat and shop at. Area is dog friendly

Every time I come to Wells one of the first things we do is go to the beach to watch the waves come in and out. It is so calming and enjoyable.

I don't know what the official rules there are regarding smoking. I have seen a few people smoking there, including the lifeguards.

There is a municipal parking lot (fee) off of Island Beach Rd. Follow walking path to jetty/beach area.
