This is a small quick 1 mile trail through the estuary but is on a well kept trail and has lookouts and boardwalks where needed. This is a dog friendly place. Might want to bring along the bug spray.

Nice, easy one mile nature trail. What a pleasure - but bring a jacket even in summer as parts get quite chilly with wind.

Lovely trail, about a mile in length, built to wheelchair accessible standards. Takes you through woods and to estuaries and rivers. Great for bird watching.

The NWR is in wells Maine. There are three sites within 5 miles. Sea vu, wells beach resort, moody beach rv camping. We didn't get to go but went to ogunquit Maine. I'm sure some around there as well.
