This was a fun place to go. We had a great time walking the area as well as the history. Even my teen age step son thought it was cool.

The lighthouse is not anything special but there is plenty of parking and benches. We saw a lot of kites flying and there was a shop selling kites nearby. There is a nice water view and wasn't too crowded on a Friday afternoon.

Such a beautiful park. Nice green lawn to fly your kite. Picnic tables to eat your lunch. Plenty of benches to sit and look at the beautiful ocean view. Nice place to spend some time.

I visited the park hoping to find birds that I normally don’t find back in Texas. There were many Common Eiders, a first for me. A great park to visit for birds and its historical significance.

What an awesome place to see the sites. Well worth the trip, short walk from the parking lot. Great view of the harbor and the city and you get to see the boats passing by.
