We went to South Portland for a basketball tournament. Since we got there the day before, we had time for site seeing. Unfortunately, there was a blizzard going on and most of our site-seeing had to be done under cover. We went to the mall to spend time. I was very confused with this mall layout. It is only partially... More

I like that it's not a massive two story mall. It's one story, a few wings to walk around in and there's usually plenty of parking from one side or the other. It's always VERY clean! The security guards are always around and the layout is nice. Seems like a new-er building. Great store choices, too.

There was nothing truly special about The Maine Mall but you can get everything you need here! Built back in 1971, it is Maine’s largest shopping mall (and probably the oldest) at 1.2 million square feet in size! It has all the usual brand stores you find everywhere and a few cool independent and specialty shops. We liked it because... More

Macy's and Sears, then many standard stores you expect in this mall. One of my favs is LUSH. A store with natural organic face and body products. Decent food court. If you like burgers better than the usual mall fare, go to Johnny Rockets!! Good tasty, juicy burgerand sides that are good too. Made on a grill top. Find what... More

On a rainy Saturday, on vacation from Massachusetts, we spent some time (and money) at the Maine mall. It features standard mall shops such as FYE, Hot Topic, Victoria's Secret etc but also has more upscale shops such as Aldo, Loft, Bon Ton and Soma. There is a sephora, Claire's, GameStop as well and a very large food court. Also... More

After hearing this was a must-see ahead of my visit, I was surprised to find nothing notable about this mall except the size--largest in Maine. It is indeed a giant-sized mall. Anyone needing to shop around a variety of stores or buy diverse stuff would appreciate this more. But, I saw ways the place could be much better and more... More

If you need a place to spend a rainy day this mall is a great start. It has a Microsoft booth, Apple store, Best Buy, Brookstone,Macy's and all the other typical stores. The mall is the largest in Maine at 1,200,000 square feet. It really does not seem that large. We enjoyed spending a few hours there.

We came here for the Apple store but ended up roaming around and shopping more broadly. I was surprised at the size and selection of the stores here. Well-kept and clean, the mall had a lot to offer that I've not see in other indoor shopping centers. Not sure who the owners are but certainly stood out from any of... More

A pretty basic mall to get basic mall essentials. They have a lot of stores that other malls might have and stores specific to the New England area that I'm not familiar with (being from Vegas). They have a nice food court selection if you have any desire to have a meal during your visit to the mall. The mall... More
